Every painting begins in stillness.

Every morning begins with a walk through the forest before I enter the atelier.

Long before I pick up a brush, those quiet moments shape the paintings that will eventually emerge. A raven disappearing into the mist, the changing light beneath old trees, or the silence of winter often become the beginning of a much larger story.

I paint wildlife through the language of symbolism.

The animals that appear in my work are more than their physical form. They become guardians, witnesses and silent storytellers, carrying themes of hope, remembrance and our relationship with the natural world. By giving them wings, I don't seek to create fantasy. I seek to express something words often cannot: their dignity, their vulnerability, and the quiet feeling that we are losing something irreplaceable.

Inspired by the Old Masters, Baroque drama and classical sculpture, I strive to create paintings that feel timeless rather than contemporary. Light is never simply light, and shadow is never merely darkness. Together they become a stage on which each animal quietly reveals its story.

At the heart of my work lies a deep reverence for wildlife. I don't see animals as subjects to be painted, but as extraordinary beings whose presence deserves our respect.

Every painting is an invitation to slow down.

To look a little longer.

And perhaps to see the wild differently than before.
